Pottering to Parbold
Just a short report as we have been static for a couple of weeks due to our plans to go away (yes, away from the boat!!!) over the Bank Holiday at the end of August. We had decided to go to a music festival up in the north Lake District as the Bank Holiday coincides with Mrs F's birthday so we wanted to get our boat fix in the weekend before. A potter to Parbold was just the trick. We had a lovely Bank Holday up at Solfest the following weekend and there is a village festival in Parbold next weekend (incorporating beer festival) so it would be rude not to stay for that.
